I get into unfamiliar problems and figure them out.
I've spent most of my time working without a playbook. At a four-person agency, the founder relied on me for outreach, email marketing, client communication, proposals and strategy. I also managed two teammates.
Reddit and AEO/GEO were part of that work. I worked with brands on their websites for GEO, researched third-party sites for citations, and learned how to reach people on Reddit. Give me something I don't know, some context and a deadline, and I'll figure it out.
The Reddit work.

How the work works
How the work actually works
Reddit users are smart and they hate being sold to. So the first 3 months on any brand, I don't sell anything. It's pure brand awareness - the brand shows up in conversations like it belongs there, because by then it does. Only once the brand has landed in the community do the USPs start appearing.
Call it guerrilla marketing. Links dropped in comments where they genuinely help. Comment threads that mention the brand the way a real user would. Asking a question, then coming back later to say the product fixed it. Real discussions in finance subs, on real problems people already have.
Why this is a hard job
Reddit is brutally moderated. Posts get deleted. Accounts get banned and shadowbanned. Honestly, most of my posts have been deleted at some point - that's not the failure, that's the terrain. The skill is surviving long enough to matter. 100M+ views happened through that, not around it.
One honest heads-up. Some of these posts may not display anymore. Reddit flags and removes content as spam constantly, it comes with the territory. During each post's shelf life, it did its job - for the business and for the audience reading it.
